Fresh mulch at the Depot sign on Chestnut St.

Our Trinity Lutheran Men's Group spearheaded this inaugural event this past weekend. The group had helped maintain one of the entrance welcome signs to Reed City about two years ago and this year decided to coordinate an effort that would get the whole community behind an event to "Refresh Reed City!"

We estimate that 150-175 people took to the streets, trails, and parks of Reed City to help pick up litter, spread mulch, rake leaves, pick up sticks, and so much more. Pere Marquette Bistro & Catering provided coffee to start the day, Ice Mountain supplied water, and Precision iCare brought out some snacks at the midway point. Aaron Rohde and Kevin and Ann Trucks provided music during the hot dog lunch supplied by Eagle Village and Trinity Lutheran. We look forward to making this an annual event! Check out some great pictures below!
