Grace 2020 Graduate Spotlight

This week, Trinity Lutheran School will be honoring its 2020 graduates with a special daily spotlight. We will plan to celebrate as a family when we can meet together again. Today's spotlight is on Grace Jacobson. Grace is the daughter of Jim and Elena Jacobson. Congratulations Grace!

Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.”

Future Plans: 2. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in the medical field. During my high school years, I’ll be working towards getting good grades while preparing for college and applying for scholarships. I would also like to go on mission trips during my high school years. My dream school is NYU because of their medical program, but UM also provides a wonderful medical program along with an onsite hospital. My possible career interests would be a physician, a pharmacist, or possibly a PA ( physician’s assistant). Although, I am also interested in becoming a published author at some point in my life. One last goal I hope to achieve would be to start a nonprofit. I would like to set one up in Guatemala and provide medical help, while also providing food and shelter. I would like to provide opportunities they would not normally be offered. While I may not achieve all of my goals, I would like to work towards completing and pursuing them if it’s possible. If I can then I (hopefully) will achieve my goals.

Hobbies and Interests: I enjoy both writing and reading. I like to do both baking and cooking, I just enjoy being in the kitchen. I also like photography and I enjoy taking pictures. Two more things I like to do would be singing and painting.

Favorite Thing About Trinity Lutheran: Honestly, the people are my favorite thing about Trinity. Over the years, they begin to feel like family. While at the beginning everyone is new and still getting to know one another, they eventually become not only friends but also family. The teachers are all amazing. They are all supportive, kind, and caring. So, I would say my favorite thing about Trinity would definitely be the people.

If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be and why? I would want to be a giraffe because they are both peaceful and serene plus they’re pretty tall.

Three words that describe you the most: Ambitious, curious, and kind.
