LECTORS
Lectors assist in the church service by reading the Old Testament and the Epistle scripture lessons. Being a lector is a wonderful way to serve the Lord and use your God given talents.

USHERS
Ushers are a vital part of each worship service. They hand out the church bulletins, collect the offering and direct our members to the communion table. We are always in need of volunteers for this role in our worship service.

GREETERS
This is our way of reaching out and welcoming everyone as they enter the church doors with a warm and friendly smile. We are watchful of our newest members and especially all the guests attending. We kindly ask the guests to sign our guest book located on the Welcome Center. We also try to introduce them to others who may be standing nearby.

FELLOWSHIP TIME
This is an opportunity for people to join in fellowship after our worship service on Sunday mornings by enjoying a cup of coffee and a cookie. This is a time in which the children join the adults for refreshments & singing before heading to Sunday School. If you would like to donate some of the needed supplies to make this happen, a sign-up sheet is available in the kitchen at the church. We are always looking for volunteers to help.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School is a wonderful addition to our Sunday Worship! Sunday school begins around 10:30 a.m. each Sunday after the worship services & fellowship time. Sunday school is open to all children ages 3 - 13 (preschool - 8th grade). The curriculum for Sunday school includes music, crafts, and games. This is a wonderful time of learning & making friends as we learn about Jesus!

NURSERY
During the Bible Study Hour on Sunday mornings, we offer a nursery for all children 2 and under. We have a group of wonderful volunteers that rotate watching the children so their parents are able to attend the Bible Study. This takes place in the cry room in the back of the sanctuary.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (V.B.S.)
Vacation Bible School (V.B.S.) is held every summer in the last full week of July. Not only is V.B.S. a wonderful education opportunity for our member children, it is a very important outreach to children of the community. We invite all children ages preschool – 6 grade to join our fun! Those students who are older are a great asset in helping to assist in the different classrooms. Our curriculum includes music, games, crafts, lessons, and so much more! We also provide snacks and have outdoor activities. We end the week with the children being invited to attend Sunday worship and share some of the songs they learned with the congregation. We are always looking for volunteers to help in many different ways.

ALTAR GUILD
Altar Guild meets as s group, every other month. Our duties consist of setting up and taking down after the service for Communion, Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals. Also, we change the banners throughout the sanctuary, keep candles filled, change paraments according to set schedule, and keep the Chancel & Sacristy clean. We provide a baptismal candle and napkin for all baptisms. When there have been flowers ordered we place them on the mensa. When there is a funeral we set out the Pall to be placed on the casket. The Altar Guild also has an annual Cookie Walk in December.

FUNERAL COMMITTEE
The Funeral Committee is available to provide a luncheon after the funeral service for a time of comfort to family & friends. This committee is made up of the entire congregation as they help by donating their time to work, food to serve, or monetary gifts to help offset any costs involved.

PRAYER CHAIN
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."(Romans 12:12) We have a ministry here at Trinity Lutheran Church known as the "Prayer Chain". The current prayer chain consists of a group of members who act as "prayer warriors". We welcome all types of prayer requests. Most prayers usually fall into three main categories: prayers for healing, prayers for strength following the death of a loved one, and prayers of thanksgiving. We are looking for more "prayer warriors" to add to our prayer chain.
